Farewell Week

Its Farewell week for two members of the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization. BGRSO would like to say thanks for the many years of service board-oping, halftimes, promo’s, broadcasts and sales. Thank you Christopher Rambo and Brian Fisher. Chris will be on today’s game as well as this coming Friday. Fish will be on the hockey games this weekend along with Everett Fitzugh for the home and home series against Western Michigan. Roll Along Rambo and Fish as you embark into the real world.

Brian Fisher came to BGRSO as a freshman and worked his way onto the exec-staff as sales and promotions his final two years in the organization.  He is currently doing an internship with the athletic department.  Fish has been a great help working with newer members and guiding them in the right direction in the organization.  Brian is best known by everyone as Fish.  On the weekends you can see him rooting for the Browns and during the week the Red Wings.  Fish has been a great friend to everyone in the organization and will truly be missed.

Christopher Rambo came to BGRSO in his 4th year (Senior) at Bowling Green.  He is a History major with a minor in TCOM.  He came to the organization after former exec director Pat “Doc” Dougherty and Jim Gramm came to one of his TCOM classes to speak about the organization.  This sparked Christopher’s interest and he has been with the organization ever since.  Chris has been on the exec-staff the last two years in the sales department.  Last year he brought in 7 underwriters to the organization and has been teaching Derrick Smith and Jared Moore.  He has been also been working with BG24 with sports anchoring and reporting.  Chris is known as Rambo to everyone in BGRSO and will truly be missed after he graduates alongside Fish in 2 weeks.

BGRSO will be broadcasting volleyball!

We have added a new sport to our broadcasting this year. This year we will be broadcasting seven volleyball games and you can tune into the broadcasts on WFAL Falcon Radio.

The first volleyball game that will be broadcasted will be the home opener on September 9th at 6 p.m.. The Falcons will be taking on Michigan State to open the Stroh Center! Pregame will start at 5:45 p.m..
